Connectix Wins CIBSE Approval for CPD Courses

News : March 14, 2007

Connectix Cabling Systems has gained approval from CIBSE (Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers) for the current range of Connectix technical seminars.

CIBSE has recognised the Connectix seminars as being suitable for Continuing Professional Development or CPD.

Throughout their careers the majority of professional engineers, architects and consultants have to maintain, and be able to demonstrate, a certain level of knowledge in their professional fields. Many institutions insist on this for members to maintain professional status.

CIBSE has recognised the Connectix seminars as having true professional and technical merit and being delivered by qualified industry experts.

The accreditation covers the Connectix range of data centre design seminars plus the Connectix review of ten gigabit cabling technologies. The Connectix data centre design seminars have already been held throughout the UK, in association with the IET (the Institute of Engineering Technology); which was recently formed from the merger of the IEE and IIE.

The approval from CIBSE follows the award from BICSI of Continuing Education Credits for all Connectix seminar and training material. BICSI is the world's largest trade organisation dealing with low voltage and communications cabling.
