Formed in 1993, Connectix has continuously invested into state of the art research and development tooling, machinery and equipment and most importantly – people and training.

Our Mechanical and Electrical Product Design Engineers include a doctorate of electronics with over 23 years experience in network cabling products and Electrical Designers with over 25 years experience. Our design engineers have worked on many Connectix component and connectivity product designs over the years, including residential projects, harsh environment IP-rated optical fibre products and Connectix LAN copper cabling system products. The research and development team are committed to working with Electrical Consulting Engineers, Design & Estimators and End Users to introduce solutions bespoke to client infrastructure projects.

Connectix invests every year in equipment for product development to ensure that we can compete with globally recognised legacy brands. This investment pioneer’s new products, designed to give technical benefits during installation and improve cabling network architecture. Connectix has built a market leading reputation for our flexible and bespoke approach to network topology and is established as a trusted company and brand within residential, data centre, government and enterprise sectors.

Throughout the last 25 years, custom products have been designed for HM Prisons (metalised containment solutions), Lendlease One The Elephant regeneration program (in-apartment, riser distribution and head-end enclosures), Equinix data centres (heavy duty 3rd party weight load tested floor tiles), Formula 1 Freight Management (outdoor tactical fibre cabling systems) and many more.

Connectix uses advanced design and development techniques within research and development, investing in prototype modelling and laboratory testing to change legacy thinking. The head office and factory and manufacturing plant is in Essex, England, comprises over 50,000 sq ft, featuring copper and optical fibre termination facilities, component testing and product design and prototype modelling machinery.

Our cabinet manufacturing facilities in Essex, England, include a further 40,000sq ft featuring punch and fold production, Amada machinery, automated sheet loader and press brakes. Fully trained professional engineers are employed in the welding and assembly departments and our powder coating machine is state-of-the-art.

Connectix products are all subject to standards compliance testing, monitoring and control. Our copper cabling systems are independently third party verified for component and channel compliance and underwritten by the Connectix 25 Year Warranty. Connectix further stands out from the market with a unique inhouse testing and quality inspection team which features port testing of every RJ45 socket (modules and panels), IDC checks, insertion socket testing and cable testing. These tests symbolise Connectix approach to exceeding quality standards and set the benchmark for system performance.
