REACH Compliance Statement
REACH UK / Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals, EC 1907/2007 (163)

REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals, EC 1907/2007) is the European Union’s chemical regulation that came into force on 1 June 2007. Under the Regulations, manufacturers and importers of chemical products are obliged to register chemical substances they produce or import in quantities over 1 ton per year.

Since 01/01/2021 Connectix Limited, whilst not a manufacturer or importer of chemicals, is committed to meeting the requirements set out in the above regulations. In order the achieve this commitment, our products are subject to regular review in which we seek clarification from up-stream suppliers that products meet registration requirements set out within REACH.

Further to the latest additions to the ECHA Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC), of which there are currently 201, we are in the process of collecting updated declarations from all suppliers in an aim to ensure that products sold or manufactured by Connectix Limited are currently, and will remain, free of any SVHC.

We also wish to assure our customers that chemicals used in our manufacturing processes are covered by existing health and environmental legislation. Any remaining chemical substances in products supplied are not intended to be independently released and therefore do not require any specific risk management measures to be adopted by the user in relation to REACH.
