Get ahead of the competition with Connectix Online Training Sessions
The theory element of our Copper Structured cabling courses are available now as ‘instructor led’ online options with the practical element currently available separately.
Most will want to complete both the theory and the practical but it is now possible to undertake the theory only (ideal for PM’s, Directors, IT Teams), as well as both parts, which is completely up to date with the latest standards.
Part 1: Theory |
Part 1, the theory of copper structured cabling can be delivered remotely via Zoom. It is available to be booked and completed immediately, from your home/remote office – all you will need is a computer, tablet or device to allow you to use Zoom. A pdf of the course notes will be given on the day. Duration: Theory course will last approximately 3.5 hours. The online test is comprised of 30 questions which can be done up to 7 days afterwards . |
Part 2: Practical (Copper or Fibre) |
Practical (Part 2) – completed either at our headquarters in Braintree, Essex or elsewhere by arrangement. Duration: approximately 3.5 hours. Part 2 can be booked immediately and completed as soon as the current government restrictions are lifted. |
Overview
Correct installation procedures are a fundamental part of today’s structured cabling industry. We are committed to ensuring that our cabling systems are installed quickly, professionally and in compliance with the rapidly changing standards proposed by the ISO/IEC and EIA/TIA.
Modern building designs often include consideration for cabling infrastructures to support voice and data distribution. It is increasingly the case that tender documents, project specifications and detailed plans make reference to relevant standards and terminology that anyone working in this field should be aware of.
